Using Ping.fm to syndicate your content

I have been experimenting today with a new tool in the social media sphere called ping.fm.  The concept is that you can update your status in one central location (ping.fm) and it will syndicate that content to various social networks.  I have facebook, linkedin, twitter, and gtalk setup now through ping.fm.  Additionally I am using a tool called twitterfeed, to syndicate this blog entry to ping.fm.

What does this mean?
It means each time I update a status on ping.fm or create a new blog entry on eclipsemediasolutions.com, it should automatically syndicate to the various social networks I am a member of; Facebook, twitter, Linkedin, GTalk, and of course Ping.fm.

How does it work?
I'll let you know as soon as I complete my testing.

Questions:
Are you familiar with ping.fm or twitterfeed.com?
Are you currently a member of more than one social network?
Would you benefit from centralizing your social networking efforts to one site?

I'd love to hear from all of you below.  Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions.
