PortlandInteractive.com - An Experiment in Search Engine Optimization

PortlandInteractive.com is being created to experiment and document the adventures of building a website and marketing it online.  

The core of our site will be the blog you are reading now.  We will blog about every step along the way.  

We'll start with what we've already done...

  1. Domains and hosting
  2. Installing Drupal (our CMS of choice)
  3. Setting up some basic drupal features to make blogging easy.

Then we'll dive into our goals and strategy...

  1. What are our goals for the site?
  2. What steps do we need to do to get there?
  3. How will we know if we've accomplished our goals?

Once we have a clear idea of what we want to do, we'll start working towards it.  Oh, and along the way, we might throw in a youtube video of a cat doing something cute, because after all... this is a blog.
